Who is responsible
Loqui Strategies Inc., operating Latent ID. 21 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa, ON L1H 4G1, Canada. Telephone: 416-648-1407. Email: hello@getlatentid.com.
Kizzy Rodney, founder of Latent ID, is responsible for privacy at Loqui Strategies Inc. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@getlatentid.com.
What we collect
- Account: your first name, email address and sign-in records.
- Purchase: the amount, tax, date, refund status and Stripe’s reference, and the name, email and billing address you give Stripe. We use your province to confirm you can buy, and your name and email to send your copy of this agreement. We never receive your card number.
- Interview answers: what you type or select, including examples from your work and life, your goals, the time you have, your province or state, and anything you choose to share about responsibilities, health, caregiving or finances.
- What we create from your answers: summaries you confirm, the analysis behind your report, and the report itself.
- Technical records: saved progress, security and error logs, and a record of changes.
If you use "Talk instead of typing", your web browser turns your speech into text. Unless your browser does this on your device, it sends your voice to a speech service run by the browser’s maker (in Chrome, Google), under that company’s own privacy terms. Our website does not record your voice; it receives and saves only the resulting text.
How we use it
- To run your interview, save your progress, and prepare, review and deliver your report.
- To process payments and refunds and keep the financial records the law requires.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To contact you about your purchase and report.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately agree.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never use it to make, or help others make, hiring, employment, credit or insurance decisions. Your report is handled only by the founder and by the service providers that help us prepare, store and deliver it (Anthropic, Microsoft OneDrive and Google Workspace). We share it with anyone else only if you ask us to or the law requires it.
AI assistance and human review
AI tools analyze your answers during the interview and help draft your report. The founder of Latent ID reads your answers and your report, checks the report against a written quality standard, and approves it before it is sent. AI tools never make the final decision about what your report says.
Service providers, and processing outside Canada
We use these providers only to run Latent ID:
- Supabase: stores your account, answers and records.
- OpenAI: analyzes your answers during the interview.
- Anthropic: AI assistance in preparing your report.
- Trigger.dev: runs background analysis steps.
- Vercel: runs the website.
- Resend: sends sign-in and service emails.
- Stripe: processes payments.
- Microsoft OneDrive: stores working copies of your report and the files used to prepare it.
- Google Workspace (Gmail): our email account, hello@getlatentid.com, which we use to send you your report and to write to you about your purchase.
Report files are also kept in private folders on the founder’s computer while your report is prepared and reviewed.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information there is subject to the laws of those countries.
How long we keep it
- Unfinished interviews: kept through your 90-day completion period and any extension we agree. After that, we contact you before deleting them.
- Completed interviews and reports: kept for up to 12 months after delivery, so we can answer questions about your report, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Purchase and financial records: kept for as long as tax law requires.
- Report files and emails: your report, the files used to prepare it, and the email that delivers it follow the same periods as your interview and report. When we delete them, OneDrive and Gmail can keep deleted items for a limited time before removing them.
- Backups: our database provider makes a backup of our database every day and keeps each backup for seven days. Information we delete from our database can remain in those backups until they expire, up to seven days later. Our service providers also keep their own logs and records under their own retention policies. Deleting information from our systems does not remove what they hold.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion (we keep only what the law requires, such as financial records). You can also withdraw your consent; if you do before your report is delivered, we explain what that means for your report.
Email hello@getlatentid.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Sensitive information
You decide how much to share. You can keep health, family or financial details general or leave them out, and your report will be prepared from what you choose to share.
Changes
If we want to use information you have already given us for a purpose this notice does not describe, we will tell you first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before we do.
